Intermediate level course is were you start painting figures in a small scale (A3 size). After mastering the basic techniques you will be confident enough to enter the vast area of mural painting were the key element will be figures. Each diety figure are painted as mentioned in 'Dhyana Shlokas'. 'Dhyana Shlokas' are narrative couplets in sanskrit. They are found in puranas and many ancient texts. The appearance and emotion of each diety is mentioned in the shlokas. There are two themes to select. Each theme is based on specific 'Dhyana Shlokas' . The mesurement system used here is in 'Pancha Thalam'. Thalam refers to an old measurement unit which was used in sculpting figures (temples) and painting murals. Practice theme/s are provided in Intermediate level. Themes available 1. Balaganapathy 2. Chathurakshari Gopalam 20+ videos per theme, 1. Balaganapathy - Rs 9000 2. Chathurakshari Gopalam - Rs 12,000 , Materials can be procured by the student from a local art store or through our online art supplies store, Certification of completion will be provided. The language used in tutorial videos are Malayalam. The Videos are having English subtitles. (All our classes are conducted in google classroom with the help of detailed pre-recorded videos. For each section of the selected theme there will be a seperate video, which explains the process in detail. The student will start on a practice sheet. She/He are expected to watch the first tutorial video,which will be available in the classroom. After watching the video completely the student will start sketching on a practice sheet. When the sketching is over, she/he will be sending the image to the tutor via WhatsApp. The image will be reviewed by the tutor and will be sending it back with the necessary corrections and instructions. The student will be making the correction in the practice sheet and sending it back again for review. This process will continue until the sketching is perfect. After succesful completion of each step the next video will be added to the classroom. The tutor will be available on class WhatsApp from 10 am till 10 pm (12 hrs, all days) for guiding, corrections and clearing doubts. So, there is no time duration and specific timings for the class.)
